Stephen joined Raymond James Bank as general counsel and corporate secretary in October 2016. He specializes in managing the bank’s overall legal and transactional affairs, including strategic advice on regulatory, compliance and governance issues.

Stephen’s background includes serving as senior counsel to Raymond James Financial on a variety of corporate, insurance and regulatory matters, and mergers and acquisitions, while also supporting several of the firm’s internal business units. Prior to joining Raymond James, Stephen practiced with the law firm of Hill, Ward and Henderson representing clients in all phases of commercial real estate development, including financing, investment, leasing, purchase and sale transactions, and a wide variety of government relations and land use matters.

Stephen earned his B.A. and J.D. with distinction from the University of Florida.
