Paul is the former managing director of Allied Irish Bank’s Corporate Banking North American unit and worked in several other capacities during his 29-year tenure there. He also held roles in the audit and taxation department of Craig Gardner & Co. (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), and served as assistant executive for Industrial Credit Company as well as a consultant for the Department of Finance.

A graduate of the University College Dublin, Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
